It's that time again! No, I'm not talking about the final days of the Boys of Summer. The World Series will be here and gone soon enough. I'm not saying I dislike baseball, I happen to be a huge fan of the Red Sox and I'm a proud member of the Red Sox Nation! The only things that can cool ones desire for baseball right now are 1) your team is ending the season without a post-season and; 2) FOOTBALL! My work schedule has opened up when the teams play and I can finally get my my NFL Season Ticket through my satellite provider. My wife said "no way" before because "if your at work how can you justify buying that package for games you'll never see?". I can see them now. I got my annual Direct TV Packages e-mail from DirecTV a few weeks ago and the offer is still good, especially since I can be home for the games now! He He He! I'll put some references on this blog for anyone who's interested like me.
This season will be especially interesting for a few reasons. First off, Tom Brady is back at the helm for the Patriots (my boys!). They got off to a shaky start and are 1-1 starting a new year but that's to be expected. Many of the legacy players are gone or retired since the Superbowl Dynasty years. Right now Tom has the second highest time with the team and I'm still trying to get used to all the new names, as I'm sure Tom is to! I don't expect to see rings this year but I would like to see them come close. To make sure I'd be able to get the service I went to Direct TV Deals and found the NFL logo on the lower right side. I do have another, more sadistic, reason for wanting the Sunday Ticket - the Tampa Bay Buccaneers! They stink so bad right now and watching them is like watching the 53 Stooges performing! A new head coach (who is this guy?), a fired defensive coordinator (what defense?), and a whole new team roster (my pants don't go to my shoes, what's up with that?). I thought the Patriots had new players! I don't think the Buc's even know each other's names yet, let alone know how to play together. They stink so bad it's funny to watch. I know, I live in Tampa Bay and I should be rooting for my home team. Their not and I'm not! My forever home team is the New England Patriots! If you're looking looking for exciting entertainment like I am take a look, like I did, at Direct TV Offers and join the huddle. If it's a Buc's huddle they'll probably be doing Rock, Paper, Scissors to decide who'll drop the ball on the next play!
